A 1-year-old Labrador Retriever with a serious nose — and already 6 deer recoveries on her record, all before she turned 8 months old.
Cookie is still young and still learning something new on every track. But she’s not untested: from thick thorn patches to creek-crossing trails eight hours old, she’s already proven she can find deer other trails would have given up on.

Cookie’s Second Deer Recovery
Very little blood for the first 200 yards, then three heavy-bleeding beds, then nothing again for another 100 yards. Cookie needed two restarts from the last blood — but she regrouped, settled in, and worked the line right down along the edge of the lake to a beautiful 8-point buck.
